Perry Stone issued a serious warning for Christians in a recent message: a hidden agenda is working overtime to weaken this generation’s faith and block the fulfillment of prophecy before Christ’s return.
Speaking directly to young believers, Stone outlined four major challenges they must overcome, alongside five demonic spirits now operating in the world.

Stone outlined the four challenges:
- Be faithful to God without compromising.
- Discover the true will of God for your life.
- Avoid listening to false accusations.
- Recognize and resist Satan’s voice through other people.
“Satan uses people to give them the thought so that they will speak out what he wants them to say,” Stone explained. Drawing from the book of Job, he pointed out, “Once those three friends showed up accusing him… Satan no longer had to show up because Satan spoke through them.”
The Five Spirits Targeting Believers
Stone also outlined five spirits that are already influencing believers, especially the weak in faith:
- Spirit of Offense: Stone explained that “an offense in your heart or an offense in somebody else’s heart creates a scandal.” He warned that offense is like bait on a trap — it entices, then destroys. “Many will be offended,” he said, quoting Jesus’ warning in Matthew 24.
- Lying Spirit: According to Stone, a lying spirit will “speak lies in hypocrisy” and “sear the conscience” like a hot iron. He explained, “They know it’s not true, but they say it anyway… and they believe their lie to the point that they think they’re telling you the truth after a while.”
- Spirit of Deception: Stone said deception happens when “you begin to believe a lie is truth.” He reminded believers that Jesus warned four times in Matthew 24, “Do not be deceived,” emphasizing how easily even strong believers could fall if not careful.
- Seducing Spirit: Stone described seducing spirits as those that pull people away from God. “If something is pulling you away from truth, away from the Word, away from God’s house, it can be a seducing spirit,” he said, quoting from 2 Timothy 4.
- Tormenting Spirits: Unforgiveness, Stone said, opens the door to torment. “If you do not forgive others, neither will I forgive you,” he quoted Jesus. Stone warned that bitterness can lead to spiritual bondage: “They literally stay tormented by spirits.”
Satan’s Strategy: Stop God’s Prophetic Timeline
Stone emphasized that Satan’s ultimate goal is to block major prophetic fulfillments. “Every major satanic attack is designed to hinder the next big prophecy God is about to work on,” he said. Citing history, he warned, “Hitler killed six million Jews because Satan was trying to stop Israel from becoming a nation,” and noted that recent attacks on Israel were meant “to stop the peace Israel was making with Arab neighbors.”
“The enemy of truth is deception,” Stone concluded. “There is an attack to silence any voice, any church or any ministry that is giving the truth to this generation.”
