In a recent episode of One Voice on the Charisma Podcast Network, Janet Swanson sits down with her friend, Ciara, who tells her story of how a trap of Satan led to the loss of Ciara’s virginity and the embracing of a lesbian lifestyle.
At 13 years old Ciara gave her heart to the Lord. She was completely sold out! When she was 14 years old, Ciara didn’t realize how empty she was without the presence of a father in her life. Satan set a trap for her and sent an adult woman (a friend) to seduce her and steal Ciara’s virginity. Immediately, something shifted in her spirit and her heart. Her identity was compromised, and she became convinced she was a lesbian.
Ciara ended up in such a dark place. Angry, she wanted nothing to do with God or religion.
Ciara graduated from law academy at the age of 34. She bought a home and had everything going for her on the outside, but she was empty on the inside. She became an advocate for gay marriage and now talks about how warped her thinking was. She had a partner and intended to ask her to marry her. While she was planning the engagement, that young lady broke it off with her.
The breakup created a shift in her spirit. A truth was planted in her when she was 13 years old. She gave her heart to the Lord and was filled with the Holy Spirit. Now, that truth kept calling to her.
She went to God in prayer and told Him she didn’t have what it takes to be set free from this lifestyle because she loved her sin more than she loved Jesus. But she couldn’t continue in the painful lifestyle of emptiness.
She cried out to Jesus and said, “If You break this stronghold in my life, I will serve You.” At that very moment, Ciara had a Damascus road experience. Jesus came to her rescue. What seemed to be 30 minutes ended up being 12 hours with the Lord as He washed her white as snow and completely delivered her from the lifestyle of sin.
God gloriously saved Ciara out of a 20-year lesbian lifestyle. Now, she has a strong prophetic call upon her life to reach out to the homosexuals to lead them to freedom, just as God led her to freedom!
