In the beginning, God created male and female because both were essential to express the totality of His nature. Father, help us understand what Your Word means when it says we are “fearfully and wonderfully made” in the image and likeness of Almighty God. Thank You for Your infinite love and concern that seeks to draw us out from our hiding places. With You rest all our potential. You will equip and empower us for whatever tasks You assign. Deliver Your daughters everywhere today from the bondages of fear, rejection and self-loathing. Let Your holy wind blow upon us; renew us with fresh stirrings of hope and significance. Remove from our minds and our mouths thoughts and words that have imprisoned us. Let us hear Your voice above every other when You speak to us. Amen.
