“It’s been called the greatest political comeback in American history,” says Cahn. “Whatever you think of Donald Trump, what he did was amazing. Everything against him—the legal cases, the lawfare, where the government and his enemies were waging war against him using the judicial system, few people would have risen after that.”
Cahn notes Trump’s strength was shown after he survived two assassination attempts and the unprecedented ridicule of Hollywood and the mainstream media. No other candidate had ever faced this kind of mockery and pressure.

“It turns out that the only real threat of fascism in America actually comes from the Left,” says Cahn. “It is the Left, not the Right, that has taken over our colleges, our elementary schools, the entertainment industry, Hollywood, television, the press, the media, the corporate world, even government law enforcement agencies and now claims the rights to our children.”
Now that the American people have pushed back against this dark agenda, what comes next?
“This is a pivotal moment and we cannot miss it,” says Cahn. “If we change the government, but do not change the people, then the people will end up changing the government back. If we change the laws but don’t change the hearts, then the unchanged hearts will change the laws back again. And the fall of America will continue.”
This means it is the job of the church—of the Christian—to actively share the gospel and disciple people to know and live for Christ.
Just as the hearts of the people must be truly changed for a lasting revival, this is the same for our president-elect as well. We must pray for Donald Trump to embrace the opportunity to walk in everything the Lord has called him to do, and to fully surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. In his victory speech, Trump discussed how God spared his life so he could help to save the nation from turmoil. God has given America a window of opportunity for change; let’s not miss it.
“The moment now is too important for us to miss. The political door has opened. But it’s opened so that which is spiritual, the answer can come through the door. The door has now opened so that the presence of God, the work of God, the will of God, the Word of God, the salvation of God, the Spirit of God, the redemption of God, can enter through that door,” says Cahn. “This election is not the end of the story; it’s the beginning.”
