In an inspiring sermon, Jonathan Cahn urges believers not to give up in the face of spiritual battles, but to fight for the blessings God has promised.

“So many of the blessings of God come after you just kept going when you were going to give up. Don’t give up. Fight for what you have. Fight for what’s good. Fight for your walk. Fight for your calling. Fight for what God has for you. Keep fighting,” he says.

Using the apostle Paul’s analogy of athletes striving for a fading crown, Cahn exhorts the church to press toward a far greater reward. “They’ll do all these things to get this wreath that’s going to fade away… but we have an imperishable wreath.” He continues, “Train yourself. Run in a way that you’re going to win… because you have something so much greater.”

Cahn draws attention to the attitude of those who walk in joy and faith consistently. “They’re the ones who are taking God’s Word seriously. They’re the ones who are taking, ‘God said it, I do it.’… If God said something, that’s going to come true… God says, ‘Do this and I’ll be blessed,’ I’m going to do it.”

Emphasizing the value of God’s presence and promises, he says, “Open up the Word of God—this is a treasure. Every day I got to take a jewel from this treasure… Treasure your salvation. Every day thank God. Treasure the love of God. Treasure the fact that you have the Holy Spirit in you—that God is with you.”

Cahn defines salvation as “the power—the dynamic—of salvation is Heaven come down to earth. It’s heaven touching the earth in every possible way.” He explains, “It’s totally God… but it’s got to go totally through me—every part of me: heart, mind, soul and strength.”

He addresses the relationship between faith and action: “Faith and works are not in competition or in conflict. They go together… Let your faith become an act of faith, and a faith that acts upon the world.”

Some believers, he warns, wait for God to act and do nothing, while others try to do everything in their own strength. “That’s not the Spirit of God… Salvation is God doing it through you… Let it start everything with God.”

“Stop trying to do the works of God on your own and focus on learning the secret of becoming the work of God,” he says. “If you speak of being moved by the Spirit, let yourself actually be moved by the Spirit… The Spirit’s always flowing.”

“The joy of God is a treasure. The love of God is a treasure. It’s all a treasure. Those who treasure the treasure… are going to have those blessings.”

In closing, he declares, “The blessings are waiting…It is His will and heart to bless. Grasp it, take it, run with it with all your heart, mind, soul and strength… because great is your salvation.”

Becoming a co-laborer with the Lord requires more than belief—it demands perseverance, wholehearted devotion and a willingness to be led by the Spirit. Jonathan Cahn’s message is a call to press beyond comfort and complacency, to treasure the things of God and to live out our faith with passion and purpose.

The blessings of God aren’t reserved for the passive, but for those who pursue Him with everything they have.
