I remember a few years ago I was skiing through some thick fog and deep snow. I was having fun, and my friends and I were enjoying the fresh powder. However, I’m rather short and so with one swing that I took, I got completely stuck in the snow. The powder was fresh and deep. My friends were ahead of me and even though I tried to call out for help…they were long gone!
So, I used every muscle in my body to get out of there. I tried every technique I had learned over the years to try to free myself. I even tried to dig myself out…to no avail. Eventually, after a good 20-minute struggle, I gave up and sank into the snow… and that was the secret! Me giving up and letting go freed my skis and I was able to get out! I hear the Lord encouraging you today, saying:
“My child, I see you. You’re in the middle of a battle and the struggle seems trying. You’ve tried everything you know and, yet, you feel like you’re still stuck in the same place. You cried out for help, but it feels like no one heard you. You have pushed through and applied every principle.
“I’m calling out to you today, My child. Let go! You have done what you needed to do, and until you surrender and let go, I cannot step in and pull you out of there. I promise you, My child, I’ve already aligned the circumstances for your journey up ahead. I’ve already prepared the road upon which you’ll walk. Your faith has indeed moved mountains before you. Everything you’ve done up until now has gotten you to this place, and now the final act is required and that’s for you to trust Me completely!
“All that’s left is for you to be able to place your feet upon that solid ground. So, let go of the struggle and allow Me to catch you. Allow Me to get you out of this place where you feel stuck and advance you with My power and in My way. I see you and I have a plan,” says the Lord.
