New Southern Baptist Convention president JD Greear clarifies a common misunderstanding regarding Jesus’ famous phrase “Judge not, that you be not judged.” Many times people interpret judgment as weighing in with an opinion, but if that’s the case, Greear says Jesus did that and commanded us to as well. Rather, he says, “Judging in the Bible has more to do with what you do after you tell the truth. It’s not whether you tell the truth. It’s what you do next.” He explains more in this video.
