RCA Inspiration has releaased Hip Hop artist Dee-1’s tour dates to promote his critically acclaimed “3’S Up” EP—released February 17.  “3’S Up,” the six-track offering, marks the first major label release for the former schoolteacher and positive lyricist.

“Be Real.” “Be Righteous.” “Be Relevant.”—are the three key tenets behind Dee-1’s “3’S Up” EP title. The tour will begin in Chicago on March 2 and end in Dee-1’s hometown of New Orleans on April 10.

The rap star is known for giving jaw-dropping, crowd-surfing performances and invigorating audiences when he takes the stage.

“I’m looking forward to the 3’S Up Tour,” Dee-1 said. “I give one of the best live shows in hip hop. It’s truly an intimate experience and the crowd leaves feeling inspired and more connected to me and my mission.”

Since 2011, Dee-1 has been on six successful nationwide tours: the “Grind and Hustle Tour” with Killer Mike and Young Dro, the “Too Focused to Fail Tour,” the “Ridin All By Ourselves Tour” with Murs, the “Heist Tour” with Macklemore, the “Tetsou and Youth Preview Tour” with Lupe Fiasco and most recently, “BET’s Black College Tour.”

Dee-1 created his own lane in hip-hop by making music that’s “real,” “righteous” and “relevant.” He is the self-proclaimed “voice of the underdog who grinds with a higher purpose.”

In March 2011, Dee-1, a former schoolteacher, garnered a huge buzz in the rap game with the release of “I Hope They Hear Me Vol. 2”, a mixtape packed with 18 high energy tracks.   Most historic was his single “Jay, 50, and Weezy,” that put him on the radar of major label reps. Dee-1 released, “The Focus Tape,” (hosted by legendary DJ Mannie Fresh) in 2012, followed by “Psalms of David,” (featuring the hit song “Work” ft Lecrae) creating fans worldwide.
