17 Days Before Easter: God Is Not an Angry God

Our God is not an angry judge. He simply wants us to confess our sin and repent.

Many Christians, Christian author and Pastor Jamie Buckingham says, consider sin an antiquated concept. Many in our Western culture consider guilt a disabling emotion.

And even though acknowledging guilt for one’s sins is never easy, it was Jesus who said sin needs to be forgiven because it damages the sinner.

“God’s nature is to forgive and forget,” Buckingham says in this video devotional. “Today, pause for a moment, seek out our Shepherd, confess your sin and receive God’s forgiveness.” {eoa}
