You do not have to listen to the voice of the accuser that may come through your spouse, your children, your parents, or your best friends. In fact, they may call you everything else. They may even define you by your weaknesses, flaws, and failures, but remember, you are not defined by the areas with which you struggle. You are defined as one who loves God and one whom God loves. That is the essential definition of your life. This powerful definition will bring forth lifelong repentance that grows stronger and mightier in the inner man. You could lose your health and ministry, have relationships broken, and be overwhelmed and assaulted by spiritual attack, but if you truly know you are loved, and if you seek to be a lover, you will be successful in the sight of God.

Father, I know that the people around me often define me by my weaknesses, but You define me by Your strength and love for me.
The knowledge of who He is and the knowledge of
who we are in Him bring lasting renewal to our
own spirits, affecting every person we encounter.
