The promise of being transformed and ignited to holy passion by understanding and beholding God’s glorious personality is for everyone. No matter how weak or strong you feel, regardless of your previous failures, irrespective of your natural temperament or personality, you can be ablaze with passion for Jesus.

Father, the hopeful thought that You can transform me to become more like You is almost too much to comprehend. Do a work in me that goes beyond my human understanding, that I may reflect Your personality in my own life.
If the first twenty years of my life taught me
anything, it was that passion for Jesus
does not come from natural
human zeal or enthusiasm.
