I was not planning on writing anything for the new year, but as I was reading my Bible one day, God began speaking. These are the things I heard in my spirit for 2022:
Launch Out Into the Deep
Many will hear this year the words that Jesus spoke to Peter: “When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, ‘Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch'” (Luke 5:4, NKJV). This word is not only in regard to evangelism, but business, ministry, writing books, changing careers and moving to different cities. Get ready for a launch; this year is your window of opportunity!
Launch
- Set a boat in motion by pushing it.
- Start or set in motion (an activity).
- “Launch” often means to start something.
A Double Return and Strategy for Corporate Breakthrough
“And the LORD restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed, the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before” (Job 42:10). Praying for and reaching out to others in need will cause an action in the spirit—a double return on your own needs being met.
Gathering together as a corporate body will bring a power which has not been seen before. The resistance against gathering will be there, but the Holy Spirit will come in ways we have not yet experienced. It is an important time for leaders to gather, where strategy will come forth for regional breakthrough. There will be such a personal sense of empowerment from God, and the stirring of ideas will begin to flow where there were hindrances before.
A Divine Reset of Hearts and Minds
There will be a divine reset of the hearts and minds of people that will come from the Lord. It will be like a woman who has gone through so much pain in childbirth, but after the baby is born, she forgets all feelings of pain. God will reset churches, businesses, leaders and families. The pain of last season will be reset for a hope and a future. Look for the places where God is resetting you!
During this reset, forerunners will emerge, setting precedent for the future and carrying the Spirit of wisdom and revelation from Ephesians 1:17-21:
“…that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.”
Continued Shaking and a Transfer of Wealth
There is a wealth transfer that is already happening and will continue through the year, but the purpose is for the kingdom, to fund the kingdom.
African nations will have a greater voice in the world in 2022. I saw African nations rising up and nations taking notice and listening. I saw the European Union trying to issue greater control over the nations of the world, as they were forming thoughts and ideas for a unified message within the union.
The shaking of industries, governments, leaders and nations will continue. It is God who is in control and places will be shaken to reveal who is really in control.
How are we to pray? Ask God for the right heart about everything so that you will see from His perspective and choose rightly, forming the right opinions and decisions for you and your family. Pray that the forces against you don’t overtake you. Keep looking up; the answers will come and you will be the head, not the tail.
Verse for the Year: Speak What You Believe
“And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, ‘I believed and therefore I spoke,’ we also believe and therefore speak” (2 Cor. 4:13).
Know what you believe, keep speaking it and don’t waver: it will come to pass. {eoa}
