Do you ever wish you could just apply a formula that would open the heavens over your life? While there is no formula, I want to share 10 strategic words that, when applied, will open the heavens over your mind, doors in your life and ultimately lead to revival breakthrough.
But first, I want you to consider a prophetic promise from Isaiah.
Isaiah 9:2-3 “The people who walk in darkness will see a great light, and those who live in a dark land, the light will shine on them.”
And the light will shine on them! Now, that is a powerful promise into which all of us need to be praying, proclaiming and pronouncing over our families, our relatives and our neighborhoods.
And the light will shine on them. But the promise continues, “You will multiply the nation, you will increase their joy; they will rejoice in your presence as with the joy of harvest…”
I’ve shared a lot with you recently that’s been based out of several triads of dreams I’ve had in the past several months.
But let me give you some necessary keys that will open the heavens for your mind, for doors in your life and ultimately for revival breakthrough.
These 10 strategic words apply to individuals, families and any sphere that is in your life:
1. Prayer and fasting precedes breakthrough. You will find this throughout revival history—prayer and fasting precedes breakthrough.
2. Hunger for more of God! I’m giving you a challenge—hunger for God’s manifest presence. For years I’ve said, “The depth of your hunger is the length of your reach to God.” Do you hunger for more of Him? How hungry are you?
3. Receive fresh prophetic revelation. This is all by grace. Receive by faith and grace, fresh prophetic revelation. Don’t only live on yesterday’s revelation. Receive fresh manna. Receive fresh, prophetic revelation. What is Papa saying today? What is the Holy Spirit saying today?
4. Desire God’s manifest presence. One thing I desire and that I will seek after that I might behold the beauty of the Lord and inquire in His temple. Let’s be a people of the distinguishing characteristic of being carriers of His presence.
5. The strategic importance of canceling demonic decrees. You are not to be ignorant of the devil’s schemes. The word, “schemes” there is schema, and that is a blueprint. Not only does God have a plan for your life, but the devil does too. And you are not to be ignorant of the devil’s schema, his blueprint, but you need to step to the plate and cancel demonic decrees—in your life and in your family, your city, your state, your province and your nation. Cancel demonic decrees.
6. Give high value to the Spirit and the gift of a word of wisdom. Let me say that again. Give a higher value to the Spirit of wisdom and the spiritual gift of a word of wisdom. One of the greatest needs in the body of Christ today is to walk in an increase of the Spirit of wisdom and the corresponding spiritual gift of operating in the word of wisdom.
7. The power of the Lord’s Supper. The Lord spoke to me that the one of the most overlooked and yet one of the most powerful weapons of spiritual warfare is communion—the Lord’s Supper. Be careful not to overlook this. Are you taking communion regularly in your life?
8. Pronounce prophetic promises and declarations. It’s not enough to cancel demonic decrees. To have a new beginning, you must move into pronouncing prophetic promises through the power of declaration.
9. Release presence-saturated worship and praise. I was given another amazing dream recently where I literally saw a man named David and he was dressed in a lion’s skin. As a warrior, David was releasing the battle cry of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. It was all about the restoration of David’s tabernacle, which has fallen but is being raised up again. God is raising up David’s men and women with the roar of the Lion of Judah to release high praise in the house again. They will go to the streets. They will go to the fields, and they will go everywhere the Lord sends them. This is a mighty weapon of spiritual warfare.
10. We are better together. Yes, it is true. If one can chase 1,000, two can chase 10,000.

The Lord once gave me a spiritual dream in which I was told, “Don’t just wait for the next wave to watch it and possibly catch it. It’s time for you to make a wave! Don’t just wait for the stirring of the waters. You can draw forth the finger of God by the depth of your hunger and create the next wave.”
In partnership with God, it’s time to make the next wave!
Let’s be among those who believe that we are called to go from glory to glory and that we are invited to be a part of the “Greater Works Generation”—renewed, revived and reformed—to bring the transformation that Jesus prophesied would come on earth as it is in heaven.
