Pastor Jamie Morgan of Life Church in Williamstown, New Jersey, has a passion for souls. She urges people to follow God’s heart and seek Him for personal revival and soul-winning. And God has given her a particular prophetic word to capture the soul-winning element.
“For 2021, I told my church: This is the year to sharpen your golden sickles,” Morgan tells Dr. Steve Greene on a popular episode of the Greenelines podcast on the Charisma Podcast network. “”There’s a resurgence of the office of evangelist—and on soul-winning, just personal soul-winning, which—let’s just call it what is is. Evangelism has taken a backseat, not everywhere, but in many places in the church.
“You’re to be about My Father’s business, and my Father’s business is souls,” Morgan says the Lord is telling us. “If we could hear God’s heart beating, it would sound like this: ‘Souls. Souls. Souls.’ Everything God does, the motivating purpose behind it is to win souls to the kingdom.
“Lord, what has made my blade dull?” Morgan says we must ask God. “Where am I dull in my Christian walk? Where am I dull? And say, ‘Lord, sharpen my blade, show me what I need to so so that I can sharpen my golden sickle to prepare for this influx of the last-days harvest of souls.'”
