“Through the obstacles, I went from not knowing Jesus to giving my entire life to Him,” Martini told Dr. Steve Greene on a recent episode of Greenelines on the Charisma Podcast Network. “If you need peace in your life, the first thing you should do, and it was obvious for me, is right now, by yourself, pray that Holy Spirit would give you an impartation of God’s peace that Jesus refers to in John 14:27.
“Jesus said, ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you.’ What’s wonderful about that is Jesus is talking about a transference of anointing from His life to the lives of His disciples, and that is available to us also. We have to be open, so that the peace is not coming from our insides, it’s actually from Him.
“For me, I would lay my hands on my head and pray that God’s peace would fill me. You can lay your hands on your own head. … The peace comes from the grace and humility of knowing only Jesus can provide it.”
