Raise your level of faith and put your hand to the plow because the commanded blessing of the Lord is upon you! You were marked for such a time as this.
“To everything there is a season, a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot what is planted” (Eccl. 3:1-2).
Throughout the ages, God has fulfilled His specific purposes in season through the lives of His children. When the children of Israel were wandering through the wilderness, it was a time of testing. Their faith was to be proven during their wilderness experience. It was also a preparation time for those who would enter into the promised land and take possession of their inheritance.
During their season of testing, God was proving their faith and growing them in their spiritual maturity. God revealed Himself to be the God of supernatural provision. He provided fresh bread from heaven every day and fresh water that flowed from the rock. He was their pillar of cloud by day and fire by night, always leading the way. God even caused their clothes and shoes to supernaturally withstand and not wear out (see Deut. 8:4).
During our time of testing, God is proving our faith, and He is providing for those who are standing and are not moved by our current climate of culture.
God has given us the victory; it is His will for us to press in prayer and take our inheritance.
Joshua was not afraid; he led a new generation into a new season.
The children of Israel entered a season of conquering their enemies and taking possession of their promises. This is your season; you are marked for the commanded blessing of the Lord!
