America is dumping wokeness like nuclear waste. DEI is DOA. Pride Month is shaping up to look more like an abandoned sideshow than a celebration. But then there’s San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.
These three cities refuse to face reality. Rather than learning from their disastrous social experiments, they’ve doubled down. And as a result, violence, homelessness, addiction and mental illness continue to reign in these dystopian communities—but with a new, disturbing twist.
Now, the rage is turning toward Christians—and even toward children.
This was on full display in Seattle last Saturday.

According to The Christian Post:
“The May 24 rally at Cal Anderson Park, organized by pro-life group Mayday USA for its ‘Don’t Mess With Our Kids’ national tour, drew hundreds of supporters holding signs supporting the sanctity of life, biological gender, the nuclear family and religious freedom.
A short time later, pro-LGBT counter-protesters confronted the group. Waving transgender flags, they reportedly clashed with police in riot gear and threw water bottles and other objects.”
But that was only part of the story.
It got worse.
Christians at the event—many of whom were handing out clothes, giving free haircuts, and blessing the poor—were threatened with knives. Their crime? Worshiping in public.
Jenny Donnelly, founder of the Don’t Mess With Our Kids movement, led the rally. What she and her team are doing is clearly a work of God. And this is what they’re attacking.
We spoke with Ross Johnston, who also led the outreach that day, during a recent episode of Firepower.
Wokeness is collapsing—and its defenders are lashing out.
Some self-described members of the “queer community” even performed sexual acts in front of children.
Why this complete breakdown of decency and reason? Is it desperation? Mental illness? Demonic hatred?
Answer: all of the above.
But in doing this, they’ve triggered a massive backlash. Even atheists and members of the gay community are coming to the defense of Mayday USA.
The real lesson here? Christians must go into these places. They will win in court. And it is our divine calling to bring the Gospel into even the darkest corners of society.
Wokeness showed its true face once again. There is nothing noble, decent or redeemable about it. And maybe, just maybe, America needed to see it one more time.
But let’s not miss the disturbing message from Seattle’s mayor.
“Seattle is proud of our reputation as a welcoming, inclusive city for LGBTQ+ communities, and we stand with our trans neighbors when they face bigotry and injustice,” the statement read. “Today’s far-right rally was held here for this very reason – to provoke a reaction by promoting beliefs that are inherently opposed to our city’s values, in the heart of Seattle’s most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhood.”
Let’s unpack that:
- The mayor says the city is “welcoming and inclusive”—but only for certain groups. That’s religious discrimination.
- He claims the rally subjected trans individuals to “bigotry and injustice.” In reality, it was the protestors—some affiliated with Antifa—who attacked a peaceful, permitted Christian event.
- He accused Christians of provoking violence by giving free haircuts, offering food and clothing, and worshiping in song.
- He declared that biblical beliefs are “inherently opposed to our city’s values.” That is a direct rejection of Christianity.
Here are some final thoughts:
- The U.S. Constitution does not permit Seattle—or any city—to outlaw Christian beliefs or expression.
- Look at what “Seattle values” have done to the city: whole neighborhoods have been reduced to ashes of despair and addiction.
- A public park cannot ban a peaceful Christian rally. That’s a violation of freedom of speech, religion and assembly.
- A Seattle journalist covering the event said, “Two genders is an ideology.” That’s false. Male and female is biology—not opinion.
- Leftists claim Christians are “invading” their space. Yet drag queen story hours are routinely pushed into conservative communities.

If any believer thinks it’s wrong to take the Gospel into cities like Seattle, they may need to apologize to Philip.
Acts 8:9–12 tells of a sorcerer named Simon who amazed the people of Samaria. Yet when Philip preached the Gospel, men and women were baptized—even in a city steeped in sorcery.
If God could reach Samaria, He can reach Seattle.
Let’s pray that the sorcery and darkness ruling Seattle will be broken by the power of God.
As Romans 5:20 says, “…where sin abounded, grace did much more abound.”
