People ask me, “Rosalinda, is God moving in that great, big, strong, amazing way of testimonies recorded from the past?” My answer is, “Yes!” In the words of Dr. A.L. Gill, “for this to occur, we need to go back and look at the Word of God again, not as theologians or historians, but as those who will, with simplicity of faith, believe God’s Word is true.” Do you believe the Scriptures are true?
When you create an atmosphere of worship and stop the agenda to thank God for the miracles He has already done, the atmosphere becomes primed for the Holy Spirit to move. We make a faith-charged place for the works of God to manifest and prove what Jesus said in John’s account.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father” (John 14:12, NKJV).
So, let me ask you again — do you believe the Word is true? I do, through faith and experience.
A lady made her way to the altar one Sunday. She was weak, broken. Cancer was tearing apart her body as she shakily stood in front of me. We laid hands on her, anointed her with oil and prayed for her healing. I didn’t see the woman much after that in the months to come; then she walked up to me after service about a year later.
“Do you remember me? You prayed for me around this time almost a year ago. I had cancer. The doctors gave me ninety days? Do you remember?”
I meet a lot of people but I did remember her even though she looked very different. She wasn’t feeble and her hair had grown back. The cancer was gone — gone! The wife and mom is again strong and active because the God she trusts is strong and active. Yes, miracles are still happening.
Sweep away the doubt with your praise, let faith arise within you and believe the God of the Bible who has empowered you to “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give” (Matt. 10:8).
