While Christians are called to live an overcoming life of victory and goodness, most haven’t obtained their rightful inheritance.
Even as hearts long for the light, darkness quietly encroaches on our families and churches. We desperately want to move forward, but the way out can seem complicated.
Part of what we’re dealing with is the subtle deception of the enemy. He continually endeavors to bring confusion and anxiety upon creation.
It seems that Satan’s most treacherous tactic in all of this is to encumber the minds of Christians. Deceptive spirits come and cast their shadow upon the imagination. Temptations are continually being amplified along with jealousies, envy and fear.
Sadly, sickness, poverty and broken relationships become the most common outcome of this terrible confusion.
This doesn’t have to be!
Scripture declares, “that you put off the former way of life in the old nature, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” (Eph. 4:22-23)
The Lord is inviting each of us to renew our attitudes and our minds. We’re being empowered to cast off the darkness and truly envision the world as God intended it.
Satan and his minions must no longer inhibit us or separate us from our inheritance. Through the work of the Holy Spirit we can step into our true identity and experience the abundant blessings of the kingdom.
It is time to let the Spirit renew your thoughts.
