I wish someone could have told me this when I was three years old! So I am telling you, whatever age you are, God has a good plan for you! I’ll bet you know what it is. I’ll bet everyone has tried to talk you out of it. I’ll bet you feel all alone in it. I’ll bet it’s the only thing that, when you get involved doing it, you go places you can’t go doing anything else. Take my advice … just do it! Cling to God and let Him put all the pieces together while you two work this out!
I don’t know where all this will lead, but I know it will be good. I know it will be where He wants me to be. I know I will go places that I never would have by listening to the voices that lie. God is good! His plans for you are good. Believe He can cause you to succeed in what ever He tells you to do. It may be the hardest thing you have ever done, but in the end, you know you’ll have won.
“Then Jesus turned to the Jews who had claimed to believe in him. ‘If you stick with this, living out what I tell you, you are my disciples for sure. Then you will experience for yourselves the truth, and the truth will free you’” (John 8:31-32, MSG).
Lord, thank you for loving us enough to bring us back to your plans for our lives. They are good, and when we follow you, we will prosper!
