I was recently inquiring of the Lord when I heard Him say that people are fighting the spiritual realm in their flesh instead of waging war in the Spirit.
The Bible says, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places” (Eph. 6:12, ESV).
The Lord continued to speak to me and said, “People are fighting in their flesh when the war isn’t against the flesh, but principalities. If the war is against powers, rulers and spiritual hosts, we need to fight in the Spirit and not the natural.” We are trying to fight something based on knowledge and understanding, instead of tapping into the Holy Spirit residing within us and allowing Him to instruct us how to war, fight and pray.
We should fight a war in the spiritual realm with pinpoint accuracy and precision. When we co-labor with the Holy Spirit, He gives us the necessary tools. We can no longer fight as usual. We are in a spiritual battle, and spiritual principles must be released.
