Just before the announcement of the passing of his mother, Dodie Osteen, Joel Osteen shared to social media a heartfelt and inspiring message to encourage others through their hardships.
“Sometimes you have to go through the pain to get to the purpose, through the weeping to get to the joy, through the struggle to get to the abundance,” Osteen writes.

He continues by sharing how God will bring blessing and promotion to the one who stays faithful throughout life’s trials and tribulations.
“You keep being faithful and you’re going to see what God has been working on for generations. You’re going to come into houses that you didn’t build, vineyards that you didn’t plant, promotion that you didn’t deserve, mercy when you should have had judgment.”
